Network London looks after backup, disaster recovery and business continuity for growing businesses in London and across the world. We keep separate copies of your data, including Microsoft 365, test that they restore, and plan with you how your team keeps working when something fails. Our office is near London Bridge.

Do any of these sound familiar?
We believe a backup only counts once you have tested that you can get your data back from it.

Backups are often set up once and left alone until something goes wrong. We start with your business: the data you hold, the systems your people rely on and what you couldn’t work without. Then we plan backup, recovery and how the business keeps running around that. Network London has looked after business IT for 20 years.
When one client’s network went down, we went to site and arranged a temporary connection so their team could keep working while we chased the provider for a permanent fix. We stayed beyond normal hours to restore and test everything, so they could start the next morning without disruption.
Tell us what your business can’t work without and we’ll plan how to protect it.
Get in touchWe plan how data is copied and how it comes back as one piece of work. That way the backup matches what you would need in a real recovery.
Our security work is led by Ian Welch, our Technical Director, who holds CEH, CISSP and ISO 27001 lead implementer credentials. Backups are part of how we help you recover from an attack such as ransomware.
We check that data can be restored and walk through the recovery plan with you. Problems show up in a test, when there is time to fix them.
Three of the 100+ businesses we look after, and what we do for them.
IT support, the phone system and a website that brings in enquiries, all looked after by one team.
Everyday support for 180 people, with access reviews and backup testing built into how they work.
A small team with serious duties to investors. We shaped their IT and cyber security policy and look after it day to day.
We talk through the data and systems your business can’t work without, and how long you could manage without each one.
We put backups in place for the data that matters, including Microsoft 365. We also write down who does what, and how your team keeps working, if something fails.
We check that data comes back when it is restored. When your business or your systems change, we update the plan.
Email, files and chats in Microsoft 365 can still be lost to accidental deletion or an attack. We keep a separate copy that can be restored.
Files held on servers and other systems can be backed up too, so a hardware failure is something you can recover from.
A disaster recovery plan sets out how your business keeps going after a serious incident, such as a cyber attack or a flood at the office. We write it with you.
We restore data from your backups to check it comes back complete and usable.
Ransomware can encrypt or delete data on your network, and sometimes the backups connected to it. We plan backups so a copy is kept apart from your everyday systems.
If something goes wrong, call us. A real person answers, and the team that set up your backups helps you get your data and systems back.
We plan how your people keep working while a system is down, from a temporary connection when the office line fails to who to call first.
Some standards and regulations expect you to protect data and show you can recover it. We document how your backups work to support that.

Send us a messageA backup is a copy of your data that you can restore if the original is lost. Disaster recovery is the plan for getting your systems and data back after a serious incident. Business continuity is how your people keep working in the meantime, including who does what. A backup on its own doesn’t tell anyone how to get the office running again.
Microsoft 365 keeps deleted items for a limited time, but it is not a separate backup that you control. Microsoft runs the service. Protecting your data from mistakes and attacks is largely down to you. Email and files can still be lost through accidental deletion, a removed user account or ransomware, so a separate backup is worth having.
It includes backups of your business data, including Microsoft 365, and a written plan for recovering after a serious incident and keeping your team working in the meantime. We test that data can be restored and review the plan as your business changes. Backups sit alongside the rest of your security, which our cyber security service covers.
You find out by restoring data from them and checking it is complete. We run restore tests and walk through the recovery plan with you. Testing shows up gaps while there is still time to fix them, rather than during a real incident.
The cost depends on how much data you hold, the systems you need to protect and how quickly your business needs to be working again. Once we understand that, we’ll give you a clear quote.
Backups help you recover from ransomware, as long as a copy is kept out of the attacker’s reach. Ransomware can reach backups that stay connected to your network, so how copies are kept matters. We plan backups alongside your wider security and our IT system management.
