Network London helps growing businesses plan and deliver IT projects: new systems, cloud moves, office moves and network upgrades. We're based near London Bridge and work with clients in London and worldwide. We add most value when we're involved early, before decisions are made, so the project fits how your people work.

  • Advice before you commit, so the project fits how your team works
  • Work planned around your working day to keep disruption low

What makes IT projects hard

What we often hear before a project starts

  • You can't afford to stop work, and you're worried a change will disrupt your team.
  • You don't know what an upgrade or migration will really cost, so the decision keeps getting put off.
  • A system is being chosen or built by another company, and nobody on your side is checking the detail.

The earlier we're involved, the more we can help.

Why it helps to involve us early

Many project problems start before any work begins: a system chosen without checking how people will use it, or a contract that doesn't say who owns what. We'd rather help at that stage than fix things later.

An investment firm was having an AI platform built by another company. We reviewed the detail and spotted two issues. Their data would be stored in Singapore when it needed to stay in the UK, and they wouldn't fully own what they were paying for. They went back to the table knowing what needed to change. We then limited the new app's access to the two SharePoint sites it needed.

Who needs IT project management services?

Any business making a change to its systems that it can't afford to get wrong: moving to the cloud, changing office, replacing a core system or bringing in AI tools. It helps most when nobody in-house has the time or specialist knowledge to run the project alongside their day job.

What are examples of IT projects?

Examples include moving files and email to Microsoft 365, replacing servers, redesigning an office network, moving office, bringing in a new phone system and introducing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot. It also covers reviewing a system another company is building for you, before you sign it off.

Why use an IT project management service?

A project run by people who already know your setup is less likely to miss something. We plan the work, deal with suppliers, keep you updated and train your team at the end. You keep running the business while it happens, and you have one team to call when something needs a decision.

What are the benefits of outsourcing IT projects?

You get specialist skills for the length of the project without hiring for them. Our team of 17 covers networking, cloud, security and Microsoft 365, so the right person works on each part. If we also look after your IT support, the same people support what they built once the project ends.

What are the risks of outsourcing IT projects?

Outsourcing a project does carry risks. The main ones are:

  • Poor communication: decisions get made without the people who'll use the system.
  • Quality: work that meets the brief on paper but doesn't suit how your team works.
  • Dependency: nobody on your side understands what was built.
  • Data and security: an outside company handling your data, sometimes storing it somewhere it shouldn't be.
  • Ownership: contracts that leave you not fully owning what you paid for.

We reduce these by involving your people early, documenting what we build, and checking where data is stored and who owns the result. It's the same checking we do on other companies' projects for our clients.

What is digital transformation?

Digital transformation is a broad term for changing how a business works by using technology. In practice, it usually means moving work to the cloud, automating repetitive tasks and giving people better access to information. For most growing businesses it happens in steps, one project at a time.

What is an example of a digital transformation?

A law firm with 75 lawyers wanted to introduce Microsoft Copilot. We built a 12-week programme around adoption, so the team felt confident using it day to day. Another common example is moving files and systems into the cloud, with planning, security checks and training so people can work the same way from anywhere.
